Waiake
Waiake is a small, leafy, coastal suburb located between Browns Bay and Torbay, with 5 recreation reserves and a very popular beach. The beach is particularly notable for its iconic tor, and ideal for swimming and boating.
Waiake has a couple of restaurants. The Bay is located on the corner of Hebron & Beach Road, and Tides is right opposite the beach. The local schools are Torbay Primary, Northcross Intermediate and Long Bay College.
